Karen Haake is a licensed Mental Health Professional with a Master’s of Arts in Counseling and is a National Certified Counselor. She has over twenty years’ experience working with children, adolescents, teens and their families.  Karen was a teacher for over twelve years and pursued a higher level degree in mental health in order to become a school guidance counselor. She has worked in two high schools and an elementary school before deciding to become licensed in mental health and work more in the community. She has worked over ten years serving the community’s at risk population in the home and helping children and their families develop healthier coping and life management skills. She is a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association), Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling, and the National Board of Certified Counselors
